More about Tsong-Taatarii

Through his documentary photography work, Richard Tsong-Taatarii brings attention to the joys and tribulations of Minnesotans as a staff photographer for The Minnesota Star Tribune. He also enjoys covering communities within our larger society that escape the attention of the
mainstream media. In 2026, the Star Tribune was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Reporting on the Annunciation Church tragedy which acknowledged both the quality of both the
visual and written coverage.
